Advances in Crane technology from F.lli Ferrari on display at IAA Transportation 2022.
F.lli Ferrari is excited to announce its participation in IAA Transportation 2022, taking place in Hanover, Germany, on 20-25 September 2022. On display will be a strong selection of truck-mounted cranes from both the Classic and New Age Lines.
From the New Age Line will be on display, the 7111C, and the 7183C, both with a 425-slewing angle, ergonomic control station, advanced radio remotes and fly jib and winch options. The cranes are versatile and can be used for many applications in Construction, Materials and Handling, and, Landscaping.
The New Age Line crane is equipped with innovative features, including Dynamic Load Diagram, new in the truck-mounted crane industry, which allows verification in advance of the crane lifting capacity based on the actual truck stability; and Magic Touch which allows the driver to open automatically the crane from transport position to working position and back to transport position when required. Both features improve driver attention, save time and increase productivity.
The new cranes are the result of a structured design and build process from concept to field operation which has included industrial design and ergonomic review, 3D development, Finite Element Analysis, prototype production, laboratory testing and field-based customer feedback.
From the Classic Line, three cranes will be on display, the 541-model mounted on a WEHA truck, and, two cranes (315 and 330) from the 300 Series. These cranes have been designed and manufactured with high quality technical and mechanical characteristics, including hexagonal booms, independent telescopic cylinders and swivel load hook.
